Feed your gut. It's judging you.
โtap START. feed me. do not disappoint me.โ
Day โฆ
Food flies by for 45 seconds. Tap to eat fiber โ don't touch the junk. 3 junk hits and your gut rage quits. Same menu for the whole planet today.

plants this week
0/3030 different plants a week feeds the widest gut microbiome. 30 to go โ variety beats volume down here.

What is fibermaxxing?
Hi. I'm the microbe that lives in your gut. Fibermaxxing is when you quit feeding me scraps and deliberately max out your fiber โ blowing past the sad minimum toward 30โ38 grams per day. Most humans manage about 15 g, roughly half the FDA daily value of 28 g. Feed me more and I pay you back: smoother digestion, steadier blood sugar, and staying full so you stop snacking on my enemies.
How much fiber do I need per day?
Depends on your size, but here's the deal from down here: roughly 25 g/day if you're smaller, 38 g/day if you're bigger, or 14 g per 1,000 calories. The nutrition-label daily value is 28 g. Ramp the grams up gradually and drink water, or I promise to make the transition memorable for both of us.
Top fiber heavy-hitters
The foods that actually feed me, ranked by grams: split peas (16.3 g/cup), lentils (15.6 g), black beans (15 g), chickpeas (12.5 g), green peas (8.8 g), bulgur (8.2 g), raspberries (8 g), artichokes (6.9 g each), chia seeds (4.1 g/tbsp). Stack two of those in a day and you're already beating the average human. Stack four and I'll build you a statue. And chase variety, not just grams: eating 30 different plants a week is linked to a more diverse gut microbiome than fiber quantity alone.
